Keeping the face relaxed (especially the left cheek in my experience) begin with the lowest partial you can hit with a high fingering (say G6) and gradually increase airspeed as you move through the partials to reach the highest note. (Fewer reps, heavier weight)įor the shrillness in the high register, work on the reverse of harmonics - partials. (There is no harm in making that a 10 minute interval if you are still experiencing fatigue in your lips.) The key is consistent practice at a high level.
